Common questions
How do points get earned?
Automatically, from chore completions — effort × 10 points (Standard 10, Big 20, Major 30). Undoing a completion removes the points again, and crediting a chore to someone else banks the points for them.
Can kids redeem rewards themselves?
Yes — kids can earn and request redemptions. The points are held immediately and the household admin approves or declines, so nothing is spent without a parent seeing it.
What stops someone redeeming points they don't have?
The balance check and the hold happen in one atomic step — two simultaneous requests can never spend the same points.
