Does the AI add things on its own?
No. Every AI feature proposes; you confirm. Quick Add and the scanners always show a preview first, and scheduled pieces like the brief and digest only summarise — they never create or change anything.
Can we turn the AI off?
Yes — one switch in settings turns every AI feature off for the whole household, and while it's off none of your data is sent to the AI provider at all.
